Accrington, Lancashire, England
The Emergency Duty Team is looking to recruit a number of agency Social Workers who also holds the Approved Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) qualification. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a team, committed to providing a professional service responding to statutory emergencies and other social work matters within the Childcare, Adult and Mental Health arenas that cannot be safely left until the following working day
The Emergency Duty Team operates outside of core business hours and provides an Out of Hours service across Lancashire. Should the successful applicant/s hold the AMHP qualification, they will be expected to undertake Mental Health Act Assessments as part of their role.
The team operates outside of normal core working hours, and staff work to a rolling rota over a six week period, covering a range of shifts, totalling 222 hours over the six weeks, equivalent to 37 hours per week.
